I am the original owner of this nice 1996 Ford F-150 XLT large bed pick-up truck. This looks and runs excellent. I have a log of all the details of each service that was done to the truck over the years including changing the oil/filter around every 3K miles. I also have all the original paerwork, manuals and receipts for work done. The transmission was completely rebuilt with all new parts using synthetic ATF in August of last year with a cost of over $3K dollars. Have that receipt. The transmission has over drive so really cruises nicely on the freeway with low RPMs. The engine is still going strong. This is the last year of the long lasting 4.9L I-6 engine. Big and powerful enough to do the work but better on gas mileage then the V-8 engines. This is the XLT version so has power mirrors, door locks, windows and cruise control, all working well. Has A/C but needs to be recharged. The heater and AM/FM/CD stereo works well. Has a fold down middle seat that has storage and cup holders which is a nice feature too. Has a tinted sliding rear window. I also have the solid clear rear window that goes with the truck if you want it. The breaks are good as they were done last summer. The tires are good with a good amount of tread still left. This being the larger 8 foot bed is great for contractors or landscape companies, but it is a nice smooth ride just to drive every day like I did. Has dual gas tanks which comes in handy on longer trips. Passed smog last year easily within range. A really nice truck at a low price.
