This is a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe which was in excellent condition with second owner for 23 years at the time of an accident in December 2010 that resulted in a total loss which I bought back from the insurance company with a salvage title. The accident occurred with the car hitting an approximately 10" - 12" high divider with significant front end damage as well as some scraping along the bottom after having gotten on top of the divider (see pictures). The front suspension and gas tank sustained significant damage. The accelerator, brake and clutch pedals also sustained significant damage. The clutch actuators appear to have been damaged. The engine has been cranked since the accident and runs just as well as it it did prior to the accident. The transmission has not been tested since the clutch pedal does not work. The rear suspension appears intact. Interestingly, the front bumper is intact except for some scraping along the bottom. A/C blower is damaged. Wheels are intact. Spare tire rim has slight dent due to being in the front compartment The interior has not been damaged at all and is in the same condition as prior to the accident. The leather seats show no cracks at all and minimal wear. The seat belts work perfectly. The steering wheel is intact. The instrument gauges are intact and work well (fuel sensor is probably malfunctioning though). The windshield is not available since it was blown off while transporting the car from the insurance lot to its present location. The rest of the glass is intact. Doors are essentially intact. Front hood sustained significant damage, engine hood did not sustain damage, although has small ding.
