Up for auction today is my wife's commuter 1992 Honda Accord 2 door EX. As you can see from the pictures, this Accord is in decent shape for being 19 years old and it runs great. I bought this car for my wife approximately a year ago from an older lady who bought it new in 1992. In the past year we have changed the brake pads and rotors (front and rear) replaced the spark plugs, oil (every 3K) charged the air conditioner (blows ice cold), brand new muffler/tail pipe and flushed the radiator. The Accord comes matching Continental tires with approximately 60% tread. This Accord is great on gas. According to WWW.Fueleconomy.gov, this Honda gets 28 MPG highway and 21 city, but with careful driving, I've recorded 33 MPG highway driving. The cons: the ABS light comes after a short time but the brakes work perfectly. The paint is faded, there is rust behind the passenger side rear wheel and there is a decent size dent in the rear quarter panel.
