Vehicle Detail

This is for a 97' chevy s-10 truck. It runs great and has nothing wrong in that area. There are no leaks or anything. Everything works fine on it. There are NO "dummy" lights on. All the lights on the dashboard work like they're supossed to. The heater is great and the truck warms up fast. The truck never overheats and has had reg. oil changes since I've owned it. The radiator was fully flushed and cleaned last year and new anti-freeze put in. There are no chips or cracks in any of the windows. It has a brand new battery, new headlight , near passenger side mirror and a cd player radio. It is currently inspected till 4/2011 and the inspection is a Pennsylvania inspection (I'm from pa, not Utah). Now for the downside.... The fuel gauge doesn't work, its always reading past full. I'm guessing its a bad sending unit (around $90 for a new one), but it does NOT affect the truck at all. It runs just fine. The alternator died the other day, so the battery light is now on and the battery drains fast due to it having to run everything. A new alternator is about $89, so its a cheap fix, I just don't feel like doing it. As seen in the pics, the body is average and there is rust above the back wheels. I would go to a junk yard and just get a new bed for it. That would fix those rust spots. The spots/holes do not affect the truck in any way though and the bed is still strong. so it can still hold/ carry anything in it. The best fix would be to find a cheap bed at a junkyard and put it on, or if you know how to fix the holes, you could. Someone did scrape against it yesterday while it was parked and left a dent above the from drivers side wheel (made me mad but oh well). Im sure it could be easily fixed. The inside looks nice. The seat does have a tear along the drivers side and has a stain on the passenger side from ink. A seat cover would fix that, or a new seat. The tear doesn't really effect the seat though. Once finding a new seat in a junk yard would be a cheap fix if the seat bothered anyone. I've tried describing everything. I don't think I missed anything, but i am human. Any questions just ask. There is a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required within 24 hours of the auction closing. Please be sure to ask any questions BEFORE bidding. If the deposit is not paid, the winner looses the item and it will be resold. If you win and decide you don't want it after you pay the deposit, you loose the deposit. These rules are in place to keep scammers and non serious bidders away. Thanks for looking. :) On Mar-05-11 at 02:21:53 PST, seller added the following information: Sellebrity Analyics - Track your listings like a website On Mar-06-11 at 16:20:32 PST, seller added the following information:I did forget to mention that the new mirror is smaller than the drivers side one. its a slightly smaller rectangular one, like ones found on a car or small pickup. of course it works just fine, but i thought I'd mention it anyways. On Mar-06-11 at 21:04:57 PST, seller added the following information:Another user has pointed out that you can buy repair panels for those rust spots. You can have the panels welded on or riveted on. you can search google for chevy s10 pickup rear wheel arch repair panel. these are just 2 sites i found, and there's more when you search: http://www.rustrepair.com/repair_panels/onlinecat.htm?r=ru&p=sm-chev.pu click the "88-02 pu panels" then the "go to parts page" button and it'll show the panels. or: http://www.carolinaclassictrucks.com/KeyParts-0872-147L.html This is just an option for those who wouldn't want to find another bed. Thank you midos6767 for pointing that out. :)On Mar-07-11 at 12:22:38 PST, seller added the following information:update: I do reserve the right to end the listing early if it becomes no longer available. that said.... Someone has just offered $950 for this truck. They'd want it tomorrow. So I'll let this listing stand till then, but unless this listing goes above $950, it will end early (when the other person pays). Sorry for any trouble this may cause, but when an offer comes in that high, i can't refuse it. Of course you should only bid what you're willing to pay and any questions should be asked before biding still. Of course this might not affect the listing at all if the other person fails to pay, but I thought it'd be nice to give a heads up instead.
