Hello Ebay shoppers!This auction is for my bus Kermit, a rust free 1977 VW bus Adventurewagen! This bus is top of the line! Its all original and the paint still shines like new.As well as the rare VDO clock that still ticks (plastic is missing) --Lets see where to start-- Bus has no rust anywhere besides the small amount on the dent in the back. Floor pans/rockers/dog legs etc are solid! not even surface rust!Paint is still green on the bottom of frame!! (see pics for thisThis in a A/C bus and has everything except under dash vents. (has compressor still connected to the lines, the radiator thing under the bus and lines up to the cabin)Has fairly new tires with probably 80% tread left.All window rubber is soft and newGlass is good! (small rock crack in windshield) Self contained bus!!Has external propane attachment20+ gallon grey water tanksteel pressurized water tank with copper lines ANDwater filter between tank and pressurized sink!(tank and filtration system come with bus but not hooked up as I originally planned not to use them) As you see the bus is an Adventurewagen and has documentation as well as an old polaroid with its original top. The original top was cracked pretty bad and had to be removed to store in the garage. I HAVE LOCATED A NEW TOP IN PERFECT CONDITION IN GRANTS PASS, OREGON! I will provide the winning buyer with info (phone number to seller) upon winning. The new top is off a '78 and is identical to original! Kermit has been sitting in my garage for about 2 years (rings started to go so it was parked)Motor ran very well before rings started going.The gas has gone bad in the tank however this auction also comes with a new POR 15 fuel tank restoration kit!(upon purchase please let me know if you'd like me to leave the motor out to do the gas tank or re install for shipping) I have a clear title and a booklet full of receipts, original sales certificate, Adventurewagen paper of options from the factory, oil and tune up services done at VW etc (see pics) If you have ANY questions please email me! On Mar-05-11 at 14:03:38 PST, seller added the following information: As stated the motor is in very good condition and has been well taken care of! HOWEVER the rings went bad and the engine was pulled out. The motor is OUT of the bus and the gas tank needs to be flushed. I have the POR 15 fuel tank kit and I can put the motor back in for shipping purposes. It has the fiberglass HIGH-TOP, Not the common Westy pop-top. These are fairly rare and if you can find them anymore they are $3500+ before rust work! This is RUST FREE (entire bus minus dent in back--surface rust--) New top is ready to go in Oregon and is only $250 bucks. Spend that + maybe 300 on motor (rings and new gaskets ect) Turn and sell it for 8K+ easy!! ONLY REASON FOR SALE IS I NEED TO MOVE OUT END OF THE MONTH AND NEW APT DOESNT HAVE A GARAGE FOR IT!!
