Vehicle Detail
1970 Plymouth Barracuda Grancoupe. Built 440 and built 727 TF transmission. 6,000 miles on engine and trans. I know rust is a VERY big question when it comes to these cars. THE ABSOLUTE ONLY place this car has rust is in the same place they all have it. The trunk floor pans. I'm sure underneath the vinyl top there is probably rust there too like any 40 year old vinyl top car. It has been an Arizona/Colorado car its entire life! No body rust. No frame rust. New dash, new carpet, new glove box liner. Custom built center console with cup holders and gauges. (tach needs to be fixed). Motor was built by a muscle car builder friend of mine in southern CO. Crankshaft was machined, built with H-beam rods, Speedpro pistons. CraneCam roller camshaft, rockers, lifters. Pete Jackson gear drive. Edlebrock aluminum cylinder heads. Edlebrock Victor intake manifold (polished). Holley 870 cfm street avenger carb. 3" exhaust with H-pipe and Dynmax mufflers. Sounds great! Transmission was built by JW Racing transmissions. BODY IS STRAIGHT! Paint is a little faded as you can see in the pics. It looks good as is, but with a good buff job it would really shine if you aren't going to paint it right away. The sure grip in the rear end is tired and therefore doesn't always supply power to both wheels upon heavy acceleration. Vehicle has a clear title. I am selling it because unfortunately, it only sits in my garage anymore and I cannot give it the attention and time it deserves. This car would be better off in the hands of an owner who has the time. You can check out a short video of the car on YouTube under the title "Plymouth barracuda BB" I do have this car listed for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all! You can reach me on Ebay via "ask a question" or call me @ 719-588-0956. Thank you very much for looking! -Steve
