Up for bid is my fathers 1987 Honda Helix Scooter. He has decieded that his "scootering" days are over and here it is. He has had it about 9 years or so if memory serves. It is in very nice condition with just a few minor scratches that one should expect in a used vehicle. The paint is very nice and it looks great ! It has never been dumped and was always garage kept and covered when not in use. Over the years we have added a few nice options/modifications that really make riding this machine that much more enjoyable. This bike has the Hondaline optional Kenwood AM/FM stereo radio setup with handlebar controls. These originally had 2 very small 2 3/4" cheap speakers and did not play all that loud. I added an Alpine eq/amp (18 Watts per channel) in the trunk and a pair of 4" Bazooka coax speakers and a XM radio kit as well. (you would need to activate an XM account for that to work). It sounds MUCH better/louder than before. It will come with the 2 seats as shown. One for "solo scootering" that has a custom installed drivers backrest and another standard seat so you can take a passenger. There is a Hondaline optional backrest for that person as well. The seats swap very easily with one bolt. There is also a additional LED brake light/running light plate frame with a brake light modulator to help other drivers better see you. The owners manual and factory service manual shown come with it as well. And we will throw in all the snow (shown) you want at no additional cost! WHAT A DEAL!!! (yes... that is sarcasm!) These scooters are powered by a 250cc liquid cooled single with a automatic transmission, front disc brake and electric start. It has enough "ooomph" to hit the highway (in the slow lane). This has a snazzy digital dashboard with a temperature and fuel gauge and we installed a volt meter as well. It runs great and has always had synthetic oil in it since he owned it. It has a recent battery, tires and brakes and is ready to ride. Serious bidders only, Please. The bike is located in central Massachusetts. Buyer is responsible for picking up machine.
