Dealer Pledge: Dealer will use its best effort to describe all known records or defects of the Vehicle, however used inventory will often require periodic maintenance items such as timing belts, drive belts, seals, tires, brakes, bearings, struts, shocks, batteries, and tune-ups, etc. The winning bidder will not be receiving a certified, pre-owned Vehicle (please “Google” this term for definition). Payment Terms: Down Payment of $500.00 is required via Pay Pal, cash, or wire transfer within 24-hours of purchase, and is non-refundable. Final Payment is required via cash, cashier's check, deposit into Dealer’s bank account, approved loan check, or wire transfer within 72-hours of purchase. Funds must clear and all original documentation be signed before Vehicle can be picked up and/or shipped. State sales tax, tag, title and registration fees are not included in the final sales price, and may vary by state. The final auction price does not include the $250.00 Dealer fee, which is charged to Customers of the Dealer, and will be added to the final auction price. Dealer will send a provisional bill of sale and Vehicle history report electronically (within 24-hours) to Buyer after the $500.00 down payment is received.
Dealer (aka Seller) is an independent, licensed and bonded dealership in the State of Florida.
Fee and Tax Information: Dealer Fee: There is a $250.00 non-negotiable Dealer fee (taxable) added to the final sale price of this auction.
Non-Resident Pickup: If Buyer is picking up the Vehicle within the State of Florida and driving it home, then Buyer will be charged the equivalent sales tax due in their respective home state (this is Florida law, up to a maximum of 6%, if applicable). Reciprocity between states usually exists, which means that the Buyer will not pay state sales tax twice, however please check with Dealer before proceeding to pick up Vehicle, as some exceptions do exist. A Florida Department of Revenue Affidavit (DR-123) will be given to Buyer to cover interstate reciprocity requirements, should they exist. There is a $100 fee for the 30-day temporary Florida tag, title transfer and registration, which is required if Buyer drives the Vehicle home. A new Certificate of Title will be sent to Buyer by the Florida DMV within 30-days. Airport pick-up of Buyer by Dealer is available for an additional $100 fee, (subject to Dealer schedule and includes the Miami & Ft. Lauderdale airports only), however we recommend direct shipping as its usually cheaper and more cost effective.
Non-Resident Shipping: If Buyer is having the Vehicle shipped via professional Transporter, then Buyer is responsible for paying state sales tax, title transfer, tag and registration fees in their respective home state (based on the Bill of Sale supplied at purchase). A 30-day Florida temporary tag is not needed in this case. Dealer will send Buyer the existing Certificate of Title once the original sales documents have been received by Dealer, and the Vehicle has departed the State of Florida. Average processing time for Certificate of Title is 7-10 days after final payment is received, not including time for US Mail.
Florida Residents: If Buyer is a Florida resident, full state sales tax will be collected based on Buyer's county of residence (state minimum of 6%). If Buyer has a current Florida license plate, tag & registration, then credit will be issued by the Florida DMV accordingly at the closing, with estimated total costs of $200, including title transfer. Otherwise Buyer must purchase a new license plate, tag & registration at the closing, with estimated total costs of $450, including title transfer. In either case, a 30-day temporary tag & registration will be issued until the new plate and tag arrive. Buyer will not have to make a separate trip to the tag agency and the new plate and/or tags will be sent via US Mail.
Pick-up Policy: Hours for pick-up by professional Transporters or local Buyers is generally available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern time, subject to confirmation with Dealer. Pick-up address is 3812 NW 32nd Ave Miami, Florida 33142. Local Buyers may be asked to pick-up at the alternate address of 2918 Virginia St Miami, Florida 33133.
Storage Policy: As an online Dealer, storage space is very limited. All Buyers must complete pick-up of their Vehicle within seven-days of the auction ending. Local Buyers must arrange to drive their Vehicle away immediately after the closing. In either case, Dealer will add a $100 storage fee if Buyer cannot make other arrangements.
Canadian Buyers: Transactions must be handled via a Canadian-based Auto Broker under the guidance of the Registrar of Imported Vehicles. Fees due to Auto Broker, plus any applicable GST and/or PST, will be paid by the Buyer. There are no state sales tax, nor title, tag or registration fees due in the US for used car transactions exporting to Canada, so long as a professional Transporter is employed from Dealership location to the Canadian border. Any such taxes and/or fees begin at the Canadian border. Please contact the Auto Broker for an estimate of brokerage, GST and PST fees. However, if Buyer is driving Vehicle home, then 6% Florida state sales tax will apply (usually no reciprocity), plus a $100 fee for the 30-day temporary Florida tag, title transfer & registration. Airport pick-up of Buyer by Dealer is available for an additional $100 fee, (subject to Dealer schedule and includes the Miami & Ft. Lauderdale airports only), however we recommend direct shipping as its usually cheaper and more cost effective. Shipping: Buyers are financially and legally responsible for any and all shipping and transportation fees, as well as confirming and finalizing shipping arrangements. However, Dealer will recommend qualified domestic and international Transporters to Buyer upon request.
Worldwide Shipping: This service is available via Florida-based seaports on a case-by-case basis. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees, duties, port fees, taxes, and insurance, etc., necessary for the transaction to occur. Additionally, Buyer is responsible for transportation costs from Dealership location to the seaport.
