1977 Ford Maverick--a super fun car in nice shape. Straight six, 300, runs very well, good tires, great body. Engine and transmission are excellent. I've had it a year or so and got a newer car. If you're in SoCal--feel free to come see it. This car has always been in California so there's near no rust anywhere on it. On Mar-07-11 at 00:04:46 PST, seller added the following information:Hi I got lots of people asking about the car and when I posted it I didn't leave a complete description. The car does run well and the body and paint are very good. This is no showcase car or anything. It was driven a lot and is in remarkable condition for its age. Te trouble spots are--some of the plastic below the radio is broken but since its not a very big strip, it's not too bad. The carpet, headliners, and seats are very good. Excellent for 1977! The lower right rear of the body has some melted rubber on it from someone who put a cheap 'for sale' sign on it and it apparently melted into it. I'm going to try to make that look a lot better tomorrow. The wipers work as I needed them tonight. The power steering is very good, the heater works, there's no AC. It's a VERY simple car. the windows roll down fine. All the lights including the high beams work. The brakes are a little soft and the side mirrors are stock and pretty small. I intended to replace the mirrors with bigger ones but never got around to it. The reg is from Calif and it's good til May of this year. Again, it's not anywehre near perfect, but it's a nice get around town car that always catches everyones eye. The car is real nice too. I'll be posting a couple more pictures and will try to get to the engine compartment tomorrow.
