This 1972 VW Campmobile is in fair condition and ready to go camping right now. The pop top and tent have been completely overhauled and are in great shape. It has a new tent, upper cot, molding and stainless steel hardware. The interior is all original and is a great base for a complete restore or take it out and do a custom interior to your liking. The curtains are newer and are a complete set including the one for around the front and they really look good. The bus' cooler and sink are not functional and some parts are missing but the water tank, sink, and cooler are included. The bus has rust with the worst around the windshield, the passenger door and the battery area, the rest is pretty solid with surface rust here and there. The paint appears to be original with the exception of the rear lift gate that was replaced buy a previous owner, at the same time they cut in the later style access hatch that came in later model buses, this makes for much better access working in the engine compartment. The engine runs strong has the original duel carburetors with the last year for the oil bath air filter, never have to buy a paper air filter. All the electrical and mechanical work with the exception of the brake booster. The bus drives, shifts and handles very good. I have driven several different buses and this one is hard to beat. The title is a clear North Carolina title in my name.
