JnC-Kustoms Store 1964 Falcon Futura,Original Red V-8 Hardtop bucket seat 1964 Ford Falcon Futura 2 Door Hardtop V-8 Bucket Seat & Console Since I brought home my last project car my wife said one must go. I can not sell the Thunderbird(wife wants it) and the Fairlane has been in the family to long so the Falcon has to be the one to leave. So here is the info on this Futura. It is a Factory Red V-8 Hardtop with red bucket seat & console. I bought it over other Falcons as it is a good collector car. It is not a converted 6cyl, not a bench seat car and it is a true hardtop Futura. I just got the paint and metal work done about a month ago. All rusted metal from the floors was cut out and new metal was cut and put into the floor. So all the metal is super strong and will last for years. The very small amount of rust it had in the quarters was also cut out and fixed. So you will have no more rust to deal with. The Paint is high end Sherwin Williams base clear. It is a bright true red. 3 coats of clear coat. It is very nice looking and very shiny. It has not even been cut and buffed yet. The motor is a fresh rebuilt 1968 302. I had the same shop do the motor work. The only part they have left to do for me is wiring up the motor and breaking in the new cam and rings. They have it scheduled to be done in about 14 days from the start of the sale. So you will not have to deal with any motor hook up issues. The motor is a 302 that is bored 20 over, Std/Std crank that was just polished with new Cleavite bearings, new milling's high volume oil pump and pick up along with drive shaft, new mild performance cam(has the hot rod sound and performance but is very able to be a daily driver on the street), new lifters, new timing chain, new Fel-Pro head gaskets and all new bearings and soft plugs. The heads are refurbished 1969 302 heads. It also has a 4 barrel intake and a holley 650 carb. It is topped off with a real 60's Cobra Le Mans air cleaner on top trimmed to match the rest of the car. The transmission has also been upgraded from stock(stock was a 2 speed automatic). It is a 68 C4 with new front seal and rear seals. I bought it from a driving mustang that was switching to a stick. I think it has a mild shift kit as it had a very good positive shift in the car it was pulled from. As the shop put the motor and transmission in they also put new U-joints in the drive line. When they did the body and Paint they removed the old bad front and rear windshield rubbers and replaced them. The Rear trim for the window and front lower have not been put in yet as they will need to be taken back out if you want to put a new headliner in. Yes I do have them and they are included with the sale. Pretty much what is left for the new owner to do is buy and install a new interior kit. I have seen the seat cover kits for sale here on eBay. Same for the carpet kits and any other parts it might need. The hard parts are all there including; original bucket seats with working tracks, center console, and back seat. All glass is good. all windows roll up and down. Both doors open and close great. The hood and trunk also open and close great. I had them put a new trunk seal from in and had them install a spray in liner in the trunk. As you can see from the pictures the motor bay was stripped down and detailed out before the motor was put in. Here is the data tag numbers so you can go to any decoder page online for falcons to see for your self why this is a good investment car. 63C J 85 71 4 3 vin 4R11F116976 Besides the motor running and hooked up for the buyer the car is sold as is. This is an easy car for anyone to finish. The hard parts are done. Rust,Paint and motor work are the most expensive part of any restoration. Car can stay at there shop or my house near Portland Or for 60 days with out a problem. Title a clear non salvage title. I want a $1000 dollar deposit with in 48 hours of the sales end. Balance is to be paid with in 10 days of sales end. I will take the deposit with either pay pal or check. If you want to pay the balance with pay pal please check with me first. It is in writing that with in 14 days of this sales start the motor will be running for the buyer. I have a low reserve price on the car.
