GMC 2500 4x4 HD - Gasoline Engine - Not Diesel Spring is coming - Here is a good vehicle for landscaping, hauling, body shop truck etc. 2001 GMC HD 4x4. 8 Ft. bed good for hauling. Power steering, power brakes, power seats. Am/Fm/CD player. Charcoal cloth seats. This would make a good all around truck at an inexpensive price. This truck runs good and has had the rear axle seals replaced along with brakes on all four corners in the last three months. New water pump. Tires were repIaced last year and have less than 3000 miles on them. I chose Michelin LTX M/S and have been very happy with them. The truck has 156,460 miles so it is not a perfect truck cosmetically, but runs good and the 4x4 works perfect. This has been a good truck, but we are currently downsizing and have three cars, so one has to go. If your looking for a shop truck, parts runner, landscaping truck for a low price, this may be the truck for you. There are no major dents, but the truck does have a couple of small dings at the rear tailgate. There is a small amount of black overspray on the rear passenger side of the truck bed that should come off easily with rubbing compound. In my effort to honestly inform you about the truck here are some of the things I want you to be aware of; 1. The rocker panels and cab corners do have rust as seen in the pictures. Replacement rockers are of course available. 2. The air conditioning does not work and could be the compressor but I have not had it looked at yet it this past winter. 3. Both power door mechanisms will need replaced. The power door mechansims currently will not raise or lower the windows. I have seen the power units for about $100/ each on Ebay. 4. The plastic passenger cargo door handle snapped in half. The door can still be opened,but the plastic handle itself wil need replaced. 5. Couple of paint stains on each seat as seen in the picture.
