As far as I can tell the only problems with the car are listed above. Please feel free to e-mail seller at xkursedx@hotmail.com or phone 540-292-7651 and ask for Scott with any questions concerning the vehicle. I do drive this vehicle around town from time to time, but DO NOT drive it on salt covered winter roads, or long trips in the summer. The weird "Tiki head" pin striping is no longer on the decklid, it has been cleaned off. On Feb-26-11 at 16:42:16 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry for the confusion of the duplicate description. I tried to edit and wasn't sure how that worked so I found out the hard way. I spoke with some eBay staffer on this matter and he basically informed me that the only way to correct this problem was to end the auction early which I WILL NOT do. trying to add: -Does include an UNTESTED CD Player, never tried it as the bug is too load to listen to it anyway. -NO THIS DOES NOT HAVE HEATING AND AIR! Guys, I'm not trying to be rude, but if you are REALLY unfamiliar with vintage VW beetles, this is probably not the car to get started with. and also NO RESERVE AUCTION - HIGHEST BIDDER WINS! in other words, stop asking me what the "buy it now" price is guys! On Feb-27-11 at 03:59:11 PST, seller added the following information: Question - pictures show two different engines, which one comes with car and what size is it? Answer - Both are the same engine. The picture with the blue distributor cap is from when the original owner first built the car and was the only picture I had of the engine until yesterday. The picture with the red distributor cap is it's current state and how it was when I purchased it from the previous owner. I took that picture yesterday Feb 26th. The car was built by a guy in El Paso TX, then sold to a guy in San Antonio TX. I got it from the guy in San Antonio in December of 2008, and that's how it sits today, The only things I've done to the car were to get rid of the high back ricer racing seats and five point harness' and install the driver side oval lowback seat. I also installed a new turn signal switch from wolfsburg west, but never finished hooking it up as I lost interest in the whole car.
