this was my grandfather's bratt that he bought new from the dealer in dodge city, ks. He has passed away so it is now for sale. this bratt has been in the shed for last 10 years. I got it out and it started right up. I have driven it about 10 miles and it all seems to be in good working order. four wheel drive works and the engine purrs good. interior is in good shape for a '79. driver seat is ripped. this bratt has body rust around the back fenders but it does not appear to me to go up into wheel well. front fenders and wheel wells appear good. has body rust high on front fenders. hood has a scratch that is a little dented in. truck bed only has surface rust and dings. tailgate a little bent besides the rust, scratch on hood, and dings in truck bed the body is very straight and looks good. needs new tailgate latch, tires, and battery and i have the back seats if you want them. the odometer has not been rolled over. Engine compartment is clean. transmission has four forward gears. My grandfather was good at maintaining his stuff so I would say the engine had regular oil changes. It will be sad to see this vehicle leave b/c we all love it. will need $100 deposit within 48 hours of action close and the remainder in cash at time of vehicle or title transfer. Transfer must happen within 10 days of action close. I can help load vehicle and possibly deliver for a mileage fee depending on your location.
