1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible This car was found deserted in a storage facility where it has been for 7 years. It was purchased through lien sale by the storage yard and I am selling it for the owner. First the good points! This Eldorado has only 19,000 miles. It is as fresh as it should be. It drives and handles like a new car should. nothing major is missing. Now for the not so good stuff. The car has suffered from outside storage through fading and paint detrioration. The chrome is still in very good condition but the script is broken and needs to be replaced. The top is streched and the rear plastic window is fogged over. The upper dash pad is faded. The floor mats are faded. The upholstery is in great condition but starting to get hard, needs conditioning oil. The fender caps are in very nice condition the body has no rust except minor spots in the thin paint. This is a very easy cosmeetic restoration for a 19,000 mile car and should end up as a nice $20,000 car. The Eldorado last year production convertible is rapidly becomeing the 1959 Eldorado of the new generation. What would you have given for the 1959 Eldorado convertible twenty years ago? Bid wisely.
