If you're looking for specialty Mustang for your next purchase you should consider my 2008 Shelby GT-C. Built as a signed and numbered limited production run with a sequentially numbered sill plate, dash plaque, and engine plaque. My car is #76 of only 219 Grabber Orange Shelby GT's in the world and only the orange models were personally signed by Carroll Shelby on the passenger side visor. All 219 of these cars have silver stripes which is an awesome eye-catching combination that gets more looks than my Viper! Powered by the same 319 HP 4.6L that was used in the Shelby GT Hertz but has a 5-speed manual transmission. These cars were modified using parts mainly from Shelby and Ford Racing to improve acceleration, handling, and appearance. The Shelby GT program was very similar to what Carroll done in the 60's with the GT-350. In my opinion, the Shelby GT's are more likely to appreciate in value over the years than the 500hp GT500 because they were actually built at the Shelby plant in Las Vegas. With exception of the KR's or some other post-title packages Shelby offers, the GT500's are mass-produced by Ford Motor Co. I bought this vehicle new as an investment from a dealer in Los Angeles and had it shipped to Alabama. It has been kept in my garage with a matching orange w/silver striped Shelby car cover on it also. The car still smells as a brand new car!
