These Astros are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in AWD. They're basically the perfect work van: great balance of power, fuel economy, and drivability. They have a higher cabin interior height than other comparable models, they're easy to drive, and they are extremely durable. It's a shame they don't make'm any more. We buy these Astro vans from all over the country from PHH fleet leasing. We've been buying their Astros for probably 8+ years and I don't think we've had one major problem in 100+ units. They always take great care of their vehicles, which is why we don't mind buying them site unseen. This van came from Arizona. This guy looks like an 80k mile van, never seen road salt, all original, runs and drives very well, tidy interior, freeway mileage only. It's simple, will do great in snow, and probably has another 150-200k left to go. It's a great workhorse and the price is right! exterior The paint and body on this guy look very much original, no signs of any body work or repaint at all. White doesn't show much for wear, you'd never know the difference between this one and a well kept 50k mile van. Arizona has some of the cleanest vehicles in the country, we see them from all over. This guy hasn't seen road salt, no rust, hail, or noticeable body damage. No, it's not new or perfect, but it's definitely presentable for any line of work. The tires have pretty fair tread, not new, but not quite ready to replace. They're fine to drive on for a while. The windshield is new. The bumpers are straight, trim is fine, really very little to complain about at all. It has some light road wear from freeway driving on the front end, but not much. There's 2 nicks shown in the photos, one in the left front fender and one in the right rear corner. They're not too bad, but are visible. There are a couple other tiny superficial imperfections about the exterior as to be expected with any used vehicle, but it looks quite clean, just like the photos. interior The interior is nice as well. It smells pleasant, don't think it's been smoked in. There's no rips or burns in the upholstery. You can tell right off, it has all freeway mileage because the side of the drivers seat isn't all worn out from getting in and out a lot. It's simple inside, not a lot to break, but it does have a/c, tilt, and cruise. Everything works. When it came in, the rear cargo door handle did NOT work, as should be evident in the photos. It's very common for them to break (made from cheap pop metal), and I didn't have the back open for the photos. We've since replaced it and the rear doors open fine. Both the front and rear spaces are clean, only very light normal use wear. mechanical This Astro runs and drives just great and should. 160k might sound like a few miles, but these vans are very very hard to kill. We received it in nice operating order, no odd noises, warning lights, or wet leaks. There's some very light normal crusty seepage underneath but it all looks pretty good. The motor sounds nice and quiet. It drives very straight, shifts perfect every time, transmission fluid has maybe 10-20k miles on it since last changed. The oil and filter are new. The brakes are over 50% pad life remaining front and rear, serp belt looks fine, hoses ok.
