1972 Honda N600 This was one of the most casual car purchases I ever made. I contacted the owner and he gave me the address of the micro Honda. He was busy at work but said I could stop by and look over the car. I packed up and headed out immediately since the price was right. I found the little car in the exact condition that was described to me over the phone. I gave the owner a ring and he was a tough negotiator. We reached an amicable agreement and I went out for some BBQ ribs. I returned home and phoned my faithful tow driver. I gave him a fist full of dollars and he drove out to pick up my new prize. I really like the freaky paint job. My friend thought it was done by a famous painter in my area. It was very unique and ornate. In its current state, it’s going to need a new paint job. I had my local mechanic rebuild the front brakes, weld on a muffler pipe, and give it a diagnosis. He told me in no uncertain terms, “Daniel, the reason it won’t start is because you didn’t pull the choke on.” Dang! When I got it out of the shop, it turned a lot of heads. It’s unusual to see this model driving around. I really have a good time cruising it because it melts hearts wherever it goes. I hope it goes to somebody who really treasures it. There is still a lot of work to be done here. It’s a blast to drive but the tires are going to need to be replaced asap. It’s in great original condition and is very complete. The roof is going to need some major attention as it has some pretty serious wrinkles. I hope you like the pictures and the price seems right for a running, driving, vintage Honda.
