2002 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe - ACR Final Edition 1 of only 34 Final Edition ACRs Made - #272 Please click on image for a larger view Rare Viper! 2002 was the final year of production for the Gen II Viper. To mark the end of the second generation of Vipers, and the GTS/R historic wins at Daytona, Dodge built 360 Final Edition models in the red and white stripe paint scheme of the American LeMans winning GTS/r's. The 2002 Final Edition Models featured an interior with special red stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob, as well as a console mounted dash plaque with the serial number of the car. Of the 360 Final Edition 2002 Vipers produced only 34 were ordered with the American Club Racer option (ACR) featuring Adjustable Shocks, Competition oil pan, Heavy duty springs, Five point harnesses, 18" BBS wheels and the fog lights were deleted to allow for optional ducts to cool the brakes. The ACR Viper was designed in response to VCA members requests for a Viper designed for the weekend racer. This Viper is one of those 34 produced. I bought this car in June 2005 from the original owner with only 3,547 miles, it currently has only 5,300 miles. To say the car has been well kept would be an understatement. I am an incredibly picky collector that is a toothbrush in the wheel wells kind of guy. All of my cars are ridiculously clean and this car is no exception. Beautiful original paint with the only flaw being a touched up chip on the right lower side skirt (see pic). The interior is as new with no wear on the seat bolsters or entry sills. Original tires are still like new. Rims have no curb rash or scratches. I made a couple of reversible modifications to the car after I bought it: Corsa exhaust system with high flow cats and 3:54 rear gears with the correct speedo box. All original parts are like new and included in the sale. The car is currently registered and passes the stringent California smog test with no problem. The sale also includes all original purchase documents from the original owner and all manuals and keys. I am at a point where I need more space in the garage so I am offering this car for sale. This is a rare opportunity for someone to buy a very limited production car that is about as close to new as you can get. I am sure the new owner will enjoy this rare car. Any and all inspections welcome, this is a no excuse car! I will be keeping the personalized plate for another one of my cars. If you have any questions please call Michael at 925-998-0049. I prefer phone calls for questions since I do not have alot of time to type up answers. Please remember I am on Pacific Standard Time. I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime since the car is advertised for sale locally. Autocheck shows 2 owners but 3 title events. Original owner purchased the car in Kentucky and then transferred the car to his second home in Arizona. I purchased the car from his Arizona residence. I have the complete paper trail verifying the 2 owner status.
