Wow! Here is an Austin Maestro VDP from 1986. The Vanden Plas models all were top of the range and included all options and this car is no exception. Sunroof, leather, walnut - all the bizz. It is a one owner car who changed the oil every 2000 miles! Can you say OCD? Anyway, engine, transmission etc all are fine. The 1600 OHC motor pulls very well using the five-speed manual transmission. All mechanicals are fine. Car has rust in rear wheel arches and tailgate lip, but it was not considered bad enough to fail its annual inspection (MOT) in UK. The laquer has lifted all over, and the last owner used a spray-can gold to try and touch it up - the result is the car look like it has leprosy, although you can't see it in the pics. Tires are 80% all round. Car drives superb and is very comfortable and economic. There isn't another one of these in your city. This Austin has been correctly imported, has EPA exemption Certificate (stamped and signed by US Customs), and punched import documents (stamped and signed by US CUstoms.
