DESCRIPTION

CHASSIS

When you see this truck for the first time, you will have a hard time pin pointing exactly what it is that makes it have such a perfect look. Thanks to the master builder who created this machine, it is the combination of hundreds of tiny little details all working together to create one of the baddest looking trucks on the show circuit, with the wickedest stance!

With the body and frame separated, the frame itself was boxed, and treated to a 5" shortening, 2" front and rear kick up, along with a custom fabricated C-notch.

A TCI Mustang II front crossmember and rack were installed up front, along with 2" drop spindles and the front disc brakes.

Out back, a completely cleaned and rebuilt Camaro 10-bolt rear end was packed with highway friendly 2.75:1 gears and mounted with a customized triangulated 4-link.

A complete RideTECH (Air Ride Technologies) set up was installed with bags at all four corners, controlled via a cleanly mounted underdash two switch set up with gauge. The system is lightning fast and is super easy to level out like a pro!

The truck LAYS LOW! When you air it out all the way, it just looks amazing, and it is still driveable when you raise it up about an inch over full as long as you are careful!!!

The frame was kicked up on both ends because it did not lay low enough for the builder at first, so it was designed with laying frame as the goal!

After the chassis was completed, tested, and checked over to the Nth degree, the entire unit was disassembled and treated to a complete paint prep with DP40 and spray in the body color plus silver in certain spots. It is ULTRA clean underneath, and is simply as stunning to view from below as it is from the top! There are about 10 detailed chassis photos below to show you what I mean.

A ridiculous amount of time and money was spent just in fabricating the chassis alone, with the end result being one of the easiest trucks to drive, with a fantastic ride, phenomenal handling, and incredible long distance driveability!

Everything underneath still shows like new, with truly only a handful of minor marks and blemishes from normal driving. Keep in mind, that this truck HAS NOT been detailed by me, and you are seeing it just the way it arrived at my facility.

Ride and handling on this truck are stellar, and it feels like you are driving an early 90's chevy truck that has been well taken care of! There is no adverse body roll, the suspension is tight thanks to the nitrogen style shocks, and it maintains consistent and sure footed road manners no matter if you are doing 30mph on Main St. or 80mph on the freeway!

The combination of the customized Vega box ratio and the Mustang II rack make steering an effortless breeze, and the power brakes pull the truck to a halt with no adverse wander, pull, or modulation.

It is one of the best driving and handling trucks I have ever had the pleasure of driving, and there will be no disappointments when the lucky new owner goes for that first drive.
