This 1977 Cherokee Chief S-series is the last of two trucks I’ve stored for the owner the past 10 years. The owner lives in England and asked that I help him sell it. I will do my best to tell you what I know about the truck. If you have any questions let me know and I’ll do my best to get you an answer. The Jeep is equipped with the original 360 V8, factory AC, Cruse Control, Dr Pepper color paint and full-time 4WD. It’s had just 3 owners over the last 34 years. It spent most of it time in Hayward, California. The first and second owners were neighbors. The second owner sold it to the current owner after finishing Grad School in 1996. It was purchased with approx 105,000 miles. The odometer currently reads 123,251. The owner appears to have kept all the service records since ’96. The truck was pulled from my barn to a local service garage where the following was done to get it back on the road. I have run the truck just from the garage and once to get gas. The engine is very strong and runs quiet without any knocking or unusual noises. The only noise is a growl in the rear end at about 40mph.
