This NICE 1999 Chevrolet Prizm has been donated to our non-profit organization, and we have not physically driven the vehicle ourselves. We understand that this Chevy Prizm runs and drives great, and has always been well maintained by the current, mature owners. The car has only 81,000 miles on it (SUPER LOW MILEAGE!!!). The 1.8 liter, 4 cylinder engine runs smooth, and the automatic transmission shifts well. The car is in nice condition in and out (see pics), and the tires, brakes, glass, and exhaust are in good condition as well. The car has been owned by a mature couple as a second car, and has been mainly driven to area golf courses and to get groceries! The car does have a VERY small dent / crease in the upper portion of the driver's side rear quarter panel (see pics... easy fix!), and the very bottom / lower portion of the front bumper cover is broken due to a run in with a small animal. There was no other damage! Easy fix! (again, see pics! NOTE: In one of the last pics of the front of the car, it looks like the hood doesn't line up. The hood lines up / opens and closes fine. The hood had been opened to get pictures of the engine, and works perfectly! It just hadn't been closed all the way when the picture was taken.). Also, the "infamous" check engine light comes on, but the car runs and drives fine (probably a sensor, or EGR valve... easy fix!). The serpentine belt was replaced approximately 3 years ago, the front rotors and calipers have been replaced, transmission flushed, and the car has been tuned up including new spark plugs and air filter. The car also had 4 new Republic tires and a front end alignment done in January 2009. The battery has also been replaced. Last year, the heater blower motor resistor was replaced. This car has always been garage kept since the current owner purchased it in 2003! Thanks for looking, and HAPPY BIDDING!!!On Feb-26-11 at 11:54:30 PST, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention today (2-26-2011) that when on the high setting, the blower motor is very loud, and vibrates the dash! This is PROBABLY due to the blower motor itself being mis-aligned, and should be a relatively simple fix. I have been told this by someone that drove the car TODAY, and again, the blower motor only does this on the "high" setting.
