Okay fellow Chevelle lovers this is where I show I have no knowledge about what I own. I purchased this car about four years ago for a little over $ 14,000.00 and my reserve is $ 5000.00 below that !. I bought it for one reason just for weekend drives and it has definately been great for that. The previous owner had his own body shop and did a frame off restoration. Overall a very nice looking car and even better running and I imagine she would would be great for every day driving as well. The only thing I was planning to do to this car is change the covers on the air breather and manifolds( I admit something happened to the chrome coating and it appears blistered) but I couldn't decide which to put on her so I decided to let the next owner make that decision. From what I saw it looks like the cost was somewhere around 400 - 500 dollars. This car has a 350 engine and I believe it has what is called a Hurst shifter which I guess is for racing ? But that is not something I did. Hopefully you will know more about the car then I do just by looking at the pictures. The odometer reading is most likely not acurate but I am sure you know that. The chevelle does have a Malibu emblem but I do not know if this a true mailibu or if its a clone. The color of the car is called a Berry Red I believe. If you have any questions I will answer them best I can. But as I said above this would be a great everyday vehicle and maybe even for your teen since my insurance is only a couple hundred a year for classic insurance ! I will need a deposit of $ 500.00 within the first 48 hours of auction end and it will be okay to do so through Paypal but to pay in full I will only take a bank cashier check which must be paid within 10 business days of auction close and once the payment has gone through I will release the car to you. It will be the buyers responsibility to get the vehicle picked up or delivered..Thanks for bidding and good luck !
