1970 Nova SS 350 4speed 12 bolt posi numbers matching This 70 nova SS 350 4speed 12 bolt posi car was purchased from the original owner in the fall of 2010. I will include his contact info. He stated to me that the odometer reading of 80K was accurate. And said the motor and trans had never been out. It was running when he parked it the early 80’s unfortunately it was outside and the weather and mice were pretty hard on it. The original owner retired from John Deere in Ankeny and the original title shows it was financed through Deere’s employee credit union .Soon after purchasing it he put mags, air shocks and aluminum lt1 valve covers on it. The wheels on the car now are incorrect I put those on there to move it, It should have N66 wheels. ( Chevelle SS style) original wheels were sold. The car is very original, complete and documented. It has the original motor , trans, rear end, carburetor, alt., dist., plug wires, radiator with tag, water pump, radiator hoses, rad cap, Spring ring battery cables, one heater hose, one T-3 headlight, original 2 piece brake rotors, Muncie shifter, the tags are still on the front springs, TCS system all there. the paint is original except it was spotted in around both rear wheels. All the pin stripe is original. The motor is the original number matching 300 hp 350 (vin stamped on pad) The motor is stuck from setting all these years. The motor will not turn over with a breaker bar on the balancer bolt. The transmission is the original Muncie M20 4 speed with original shifter (vin stamped on case). The reared is the original 3.31 positraction 12 bolt ( CBS0218G stamped same as POP). The body has some rust, the fenders, hood, trunk floor, trunk lid will need replaced. The quarters could be patched or replaced. The doors are pretty solid. The main floor pan is solid except right under the driver’s feet the seam will need a patch. Mice have been in the interior and built a nest in the structure of the trunk lid which rusted out the under side of the trunk lid it will need replaced. The interior is complete but will need to be replaced.
