Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT, well I have been the owner of this car for several years now; it’s a 5 sp manual transmission (for some reason I can't modify the option to manual in eBay description), Car has 148K miles, leather seats, power windows, power locks, cold a/c; cruise control, it’s a very fast car, in the past months I did a lots of repairs, new engines heads machine work, new water pump, new timing belt, new motor mount, new clutch, new radiator, new belts, new breaks, also I installed a new sound system, with a touch screen double dim stereo, two front Boston Acoustics 6.5” speakers and two rear alpine 6x9 speakers , amplifier in the trunk, sounds loud and clear; it has four Kumho Ecsta Asx 225/45 17” original Mitsubishi wheels, tires have a lot of tread left; aluminum fly wheel, throttle body spacer, high flow air intake; power roof has no holes or patches, HID lights with aftermarket headlights, aftermarket tail lights, glow gauges. Now the bad, months after engine head repair engine was running excellent, one day I noticed a small misfire, I thought was a engine wire problem, I change wires but misfire was still present, check engine light appear and scanner display “multiple cylinder misfire”, I change distributor cap but nothing changed, black smoke was present and also a strong gasoline smell; mechanic said was a vacuum leak, another one said that timing belt need adjustment, they check compression and all cylinders have 150, even with the misfire car runs strong but idle is a mess, rpm gauge reads up and down at idle speed, rear bumper is black at tail pipe exhaust, this car is an great gas saver, very economical, but now it burns gasoline in a bad way. I don’t want to spend more money; car is barely driven and not used; again car runs and drive but idle needs to be fixed. Also front window has a crack, it hasn’t move in years, is at right side of the window; beside that I can recollect anything more wrong with the car, it’s a 10 years old car but still looks fine, paint shine, some chips in bumpers but nothing bad; excellent color combination, gray with black.
