Vehicle Detail

BIDDING OR PLACING AN OFFER MEANS THAT YOU HAVE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE DESCRIPTIONS AND DETAILS. This is a very well maintained example of the last year that the mighty 300E was made. Renowned for its timeless styling and it's durability, this is an example of what is possible if a Mercedes is well maintained by dutiful owners. The miles are a testament of the quality of the driving experience, high indeed! It drives and feels every bit as good as it looks. It always turns heads wherever you drive it. You can look at cars that have less mileage, but you'll always have that nagging feeling in the back of your head as you wonder "When will something expensive break?" Or, you can own this car that looks better than any other car of this vintage, the last two owners have been long time Mercedes Benz Club members, and more importantly, has had all the major (meaning expensive) work already done to it. Honestly, I can’t imagine a better scenario. Here's a partial list of the repairs that have already been done, the typical expense for them, and when the repairs were done. Remember, if the car you’re comparing this to hasn’t had these repairs done yet, you'll have these to look forward to. Engine replacement: $2,500 (in 1999) New head gasket and rebuilt head: $2,500 (in 2010) Rebuilt Transmission: $1800 (in 2008) A/C and heater Blower and Regulator: $1,100 (2010) New dual auxiliary fans: $650 (in 2010) New Suspension (Mercedes Sportline): $1,800 (est in 1999) A/C compressor: $1,400 (est in 1999) New belt tensioner and shock: $400 (in 2011) Replaced water pump: $700 (est 1999) Replaced power steering: $800 (est 1999) Smog pump: $700 (est 1999) Alternator: $600 (est 1999) Radiator: $350 (2006) EHA valve, fuel pressure valve, idle control valve: $900 (in 2010) Full body repaint: $2500 (in 2006) Note on History report: It appears that some knuckle head keyed in erroneous info from when the car landed in PA and then sold in TX. Secondly, according to the previous owner, this car was only involved in ONE minor fender bender as reported in the DMV log, and not two separate incidents as listed in the history report. Condition: NON-SMOKER CAR. Well above average exterior and interior condition for its age and miles. No RUST, dents, paint fade or peeling. Almost all of the 300E’s are by now just around the corner of needing a re-paint. I also have a 1990 300E and this 1992 with the Sportline suspension has a vastly tighter feel in both the suspension and steering. No cracks in the dash or upholstery. No funky stains or smells that you have to explain to your friends. A/C and heat: work Sun roof: works Windows: work Gauges and Warning lights: work Seats, Outside Temp gauge, Cruise Control: work Transmission: shifts as it should Engine: idles well Tires and wheels: AMG Monoblock style 8.5J x 17 with Yokohama ES100 235/45ZR17 97W with only 8k miles on them since new. Audio/ Video: fully integrated Alpine audio and video system (CD, DVD, TV), Pop-Up LCD screen, with two amps and a sub-woofer Included: European headlights w/ clear corners, black all weather floor mats, original full size spare, MBZ tool kit and jack, remotes, MBZ first aid kit, headliner replacement (all funds must be received before replacement can begin), a pair of almost new tan sheepskins, two Alpine Audio/Video remotes, sub-woofer, copies of all the available service records and receipts, delivery to Las Vegas International airport. PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING. BIDDING MEANS THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE DETAILS OF THIS LISTING. CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS WITH NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. CAR IS SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALE.
