Vehicle Detail
Nice 2005 Toyota Camry LE. ONE OWNER/ONE DRIVER car from new. Well-cared for and only 89,360 original miles. THE ITEM: A beautiful 2005 Toyota Camry LE. This car was bought new by the seller at Krause Toyota (the oldest Toyota dealer in the U.S.) in Allentown, PA on August 13, 2004, and has been driven only by me (a mid-30's professional businesswoman) and (rarely) my husband (a late-30's professional as well) when we went someplace together. Only 89,360 easy miles, most from commuting on Route 724 (35-55mph country road) between our home in Douglassville, PA and my office near Reading. Has the bulletproof 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine (with more reliable timing CHAIN rather than a rubber belt) and automatic transmission. Power windows, power mirrors, power steering, power brakes, power seat, cruise control, AM/FM/CD player. A perfect color combination of dark metallic red outside with tan cloth inside. Freshly detailed by a professional. Has a current PA inspection through August and is up-to-date on all maintenance (oil, air filters, etc.). Has 16" wheels (under better-looking Scion wheelcovers) with nearly-new Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires all around and comes with an extra set of 15" wheels (with original Toyota/Camry wheelcovers) with excellent Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires already mounted for snow/ice use. Includes all original owner's manuals and books as well as maintenance and service records. Even though the AutoCheck shows it has a perfect history (how's this for honesty!), the car was involved in one minor accident (the front bumper was replaced) when it was just a couple weeks old; everything was repaired by a professional shop to the highest standards. And last year we replaced a front fender that had gotten dented...the repair was so good that you can't even tell which side it was in the images. Also not sure why AutoCheck "calculated" two owners...there's only been one. Perhaps they just base it on what a car of this age with this mileage would have on average??? The car has a few very minor flaws. One is a paint scuff and small dent/ding on the passenger's side rear corner (parking lot mishap) just below the taillight. Another is a small dent/ding (different parking lot - this one happened at the office! - same problem) on the trunklid. The original floormat on the driver's side has a hole worn through, and the chrome finish has peeled off of the inside of the door handle on the driver's side. That's about it. Except for maybe the normal flaws/chips/door-dings that might be expected with regular use of the car, everything is in great shape, and everything works as it should. The heat is hot, the air conditioning is cold, all the power functions work, the clock is accurate, and the radio and CD player and all the speakers sound great. The 30+ photos below tell the whole story that 30,000+ more words here can't. Just please don't confuse the reflection of the snowbank that it's parked next to with body damage...with the exception of the one corner of the rear bumper (close-up image of that provided below), it's just the snow reflection in the shiny, glossy, freshly-waxed paint. The ultra-reliable (do your own research...) 4-cylinder, variable-valve-timing, 16-valve engine gets great mileage, has excellent power, and couldn't be any better when it comes to maintenance. We're only selling because my husband's new car (2012 Fiat 500 Prima) is due in any day now and I've already taken over his car (a Toyota Highlander Hybrid that we need for hauling our trailers: collector cars, boat, camper, etc.). This Camry is a car you can hop right in, drive to the corners of the Earth, and never have to worry about it leaving you stranded anywhere or bankrupt from maintaining it. If you've been looking for a good, one-owner, low-mileage, well-cared-for Camry, here is your car. WHO WE ARE: FiatLancia is a family-run entity specializing in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) classic/vintage parts for (primarily) European automobiles, but we also offer some other items for which we need to find new homes. We have purchased many dealership inventories over the past twenty-plus years, so in some cases these are new old stock (NOS) parts, but almost all are OEM. We simply offer these sometimes rare parts to enthusiasts like us out there that need them, just as we buy what we need (and like) on eBay ourselves. We're not a commercial operation or a formal company, just dedicated car enthusiasts: in addition to the dealership inventories, we maintain a collection of over 100 cars, including show winners, drivers, restoration candidates, and parts cars. We're very active in club activities, attending car shows and other club events nearly every weekend between May and October. FiatLancia also restores and sells complete cars custom-tailored for individual clients, specializing in Fiat Spiders and X1/9s. OTHER PARTS: Please click here or on the little red door just to the right of my eBay name and feedback rating above to visit our eBay store and see all the other great items we're offering. You can check our other auctions if you click here or on the "Seller's Other Items" link above on the right. Please click here or on the word "FiatLancia" under the "Seller info" heading above right if you would like more information about us and the cars we are currently dismantling. Please consider adding us to your "Favorite Sellers" list as we'll be listing parts from our purchased inventories and parted-out cars as well as other sources. Contact us via eBay's messaging system ("Ask a question" above right) and we can reply with our personal email address and/or phone number if you'd like to get more information via email or phone. OUR TERMS: This car is for sale as presented in the description and photos above. Mileage may vary slightly from indicated as we may use the car between the time of listing and the time of sale, but more than likely, it won't be much different. Pay quickly, and by whatever method you like. That's all we're allowed to say about payments without violating any site policies. Once payment is received/cleared, we can work out logistic specifics (pick-up date, time, etc.). The official terms of the auction are that the car must be picked up (by buyer or buyer's hired transporter) in Douglassville, PA 19518 (between Philadelphia and Reading, PA) within one week of the end of the auction. Now, that said, if you get in touch with us to make other arrangements BEFORE the end of the auction, we'll try to accomodate and help out as best we can. We may even be able to deliver this car to you (always up for a road trip, and we are registered shippers/transporters with UShip.com), depending upon distance and direction/location, but again, please work this all out with us BEFORE the end of the auction; nothing should be assumed. All questions that address anything we didn't cover above will be answered, any that cover anything already mentioned above will (and should...) be ignored. =^) If you want to talk by phone and/or come to see the car in person, get in touch with us via eBay's messaging system and we can provide our phone numbers and/or make arrangements to show the car. Thanks for reading, for your interest, and for your bid, and good luck in the auction! On Feb-10-11 at 21:14:20 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention above that the Camry also has keyless entry with security system/alarm, including panic button and remote trunk release...very handy when walking up to the car with grocery bags for the trunk. On Feb-11-11 at 20:42:16 PST, seller added the following information: Kelly Blue Book Value is $11,500-$13,805. Average sale price from Craigslist ad listings (as calculated by Jaxed.com) is $10,709.83 and that factors in all the "$2700" scam postings.
