Vehicle Detail
Mfg 1970 -Red, shiny original paint, bright metal, good rims, one bad spoke on rear, rolls true. 4 speed dual-range transmission works well. I rode it around the AMCA show last May, everybody admired it. Low-range is great for handling in the crowds. Not showroom, but very presentable for 40 years old. Maryland title, signed by previous owner Great looking main fuel tank, Auxilliary fuel tank in good condition, good tires, look to be original Austrailian Postal Service approved type, probably could use new tubes, as they will leak down over a week or so .Seat cover is good, seat foam kindof soft, but easily available. Plastic cover over frame is cracked. No holes in exhaust, has baffle. I used to have a key, still looking for it, but no guarantees it will show. I unplugged the bullet connectors from switch, plug them together for ignition. Switch did work. Ancient repair on back of rear fender Starts quick-runs great. Clean carb, new air filter, plug, oil changed twice last 100 miles. New points, battery, $120.00 coil/condensor, plug cap (spark plug wire was brittle and had been trimmed way short) and new solid state rectifier. All the typical small Honda electrical bugaboos are taken care of now! Horn, lights work, low beam is burnt out, new chain, original sprockets look great. Speedometer/odometer works, seems to read a tad slow, bike is pretty fast for a 90cc in 4th hi. Buy now, before my daughter takes to it. I reserve right to stop auction at any time for any reason. I prefer buyer will pick up. For additional cost I can take it to ForwardAir terminal. I can work with purchaser, but you'll need to work it out in advance On Feb-11-11 at 06:09:33 PST, seller added the following information: OK, Since people are asking if I'll stop the auction and drive it to Atlanta or Memphis, or how much to ship to Buffalo, let me state my opinions on such. I am not in the shipping busioness. I have used Allied Van Lines before. They can provide you with a quote. They can pick it up and pack it without having to build a crate, and deliver it to your door.. They are good, though not especially quick. I like Forward Air. For $100, I'll take it to their terminal in Charlotte, put it in a crate that you, the purchaser has prepaid them for, tie it down with new Ancra straps ($50.00 for me to buy), and you should have it (at their terminal closest to you) in 2 days. I looked on Forwardair.com, and I think it would take their medium crate, which would be about $558.00 to Buffalo. Bike is apprx. 75x26x42 If you like, After it's paid for in full, on a convenient weekend, I'll deliver it free within 50 miles. IF paid in full and the following travel charges are paid in advance, for 51-200 miles @$.75 mile (+$20 for burgers over 100 miles). I'm not sure I want to drive more than 200 miles approx. And if you want me to take a day off of work so you can have it now, it will cost more The bike is available for your inspection prior to purchase. It is not my intention to drive it around the country so someone can kick the tires and decide if they want to purchase it. If you have the winning bid, it is yours. There are a lot of peple watching this auction. On Feb-11-11 at 06:55:45 PST, seller added the following information: So to clarify, if you want me to deliver 200 miles away, the total miles would be 400, x .75$/mile = $300.00 And yes, the neutral and hi-beam indicator lights work. This bike did not come with turn signals when new. Clean, clean clean. This one will not embarrass you. I will soon be listing a 1975 ST90 w/less than 2000 miles in pristine condition. On Feb-14-11 at 06:01:49 PST, seller added the following information: The current hi-bidder came by to ride this bike yesterday, it cranked first kick from cold, and performed flawlessly.
