A few weeks ago the van overheated so I took it to my mechanic. This is what he said the van needed: New Radiator (clogged) New Head Gasket (leaking)New Heater Core (heat works off and on)2 Oxygen Sensors (CEL comes on from time to time)In the past year I have had all 4 wheel hub bearings replaced. I have also had the thermostat replaced and the cooling system flushed and filled. The front tires are relatively new as you can see from the photos. Cosmetic Condition: Paint is in great condition in most areas. Some scuff marks on the rear bumper and a small ding in the rear hatch. Front bumper has chipped paint from many highway miles. Interior leather shows no rips or wear marks. Carpet is in fair condition though one area under the driver's seat the carpet is frayed and torn. Summary: I have owned this van for 6 years. It has seen many trips, family vacations, and fun. For someone that is a mechanic or is willing to put a little work into the van it can be a great vehicle. This van has one of the most reliable GM engines ever built and most parts are interchangeable between the Silhouette, Pontiac Montana, and Chevy Venture so they are easy to find. The van is probably worth more in parts because all of the luxury features but I don't have the time or space to part it out and I have already purchased a replacement vehicle so I need to unload it quickly.
