This is a very reliable gold/beige 1999 Saturn SL2 4-door sedan with a 5-speed manual/standard transmission. It is located in Upper Manhattan, in the Washington Heights area of New York City, and will be sold for in-person pick-up. (If you live within ~50 miles of NYC, I may be able to deliver it to you, but you must contact me through "Ask Seller a Question" for a delivery quote before bidding.) I am the third owner, and purchased the car in December 2004. It has been treated well, with regular oil and air filter changes, and other maintenance as necessary. I have never had any major problems with it. I really enjoy owning and driving this car, and am only selling it because I don't use it enough to make it worth the cost of keeping it in my neighborhood. Features include: * 1.9 L 4-cylinder DOHC engine * Power Steering/Brakes * Tilt wheel * Dual air bags * A/C * After-market CD player with removable face plate * Newer tires (Goodyear Regatta 2 - all 4 matching, ~12k on them) * Great gas mileage (around 32 mpg / 35 mpg highway) * Manual windows and door locks * Just passed 120,000 miles in the last month or so * Brand new Rain-x windshield wipers ($50 value) Other things you should know: * There are two cracks in the windshield. A sizeable crack across the lower portion of the windshield about 3-4 in. from the base was there when I bought the car and has not changed since. It does not significantly affect road visibility. A second is higher on the passenger side, about 3 in. long from where a rock was kicked up on the highway. It also has not changed since it happened. * Some of the plastic clear coating is peeling off the rear spoiler and there is a 4-inch mark on the bumper from someone scraping against it while parallel parking. However, since these pieces (and all body panels except the hood, roof and trunk) are not metal, there is no rust around these areas; it is purely cosmetic. * The light behind the odometer is out, but it can still be read. * Actual gas mileage (i.e. not the EPA estimate) is around 32 mpg city / 35 highway, and I routinely get 38 mpg. My personal record for a tank of gas is 42 mpg. * There is a lot of tread left on the tires (4 matching Goodyear Regatta 2, bought around 108k miles) The "legal stuff": The sale of this vehicle will be final, with no option for return. Neither I nor anyone representing me shall be held liable for any problems that arise with the vehicle after sale. A $100 deposit through PayPal will be required within 48 hours of auction close. The remainder of the payment will be accepted by Cash, Cashier's Check or, if requested, Paypal Personal transfer.
