Not much to add when you see this “Big Toy” pictures. Yes, you’re looking at a Very Limited Shelby GT 2008 convertible auction starting way below investment @ NO Reserve price!!! If you are a Shelby or a Mustang collector, you know this is not a typical King of the Road made by Ford, this is a One of the Kind model Powered by Ford because it's a co-production between Ford and Shelby finished in Shelby’s Las Vegas factory. It’s like my 17 year old son says… a unique Mustang GT with steroids made in Vegas!!! This is a quote made by Jamie Allison, manager of the Ford Racing Performance Group in Carrol Shelby official site… “ The partnership between Ford Racing and Shelby demonstrates our ability to work together to deliver some of the most exciting Mustangs ever built, This car has a full line of performance parts for Mustang enthusiasts. This low production number means that most pricing figures will mean little to nothing. As often goes, the new 2008 Shelby GT will most likely go to the highest bidder. Last year’s model began around the $35,000 mark. If you can still get your hands on one, after reading this, expect to pay top dollar for this piece of Mustang history. Final Take: In all, Mustang enthusiasts should be delighted at the return of the Shelby GT. As with the previous year’s model, the Shelby GT truly is a collector’s car. It’s the subtle performance enhancements and the refined creature comforts that make the Shelby GT stand apart from other Mustangs. But guess what?… The production was from 2006 to 2008 only, and 2008 was the last year in production and only 264 convertibles were made! Also, I have what I called, the right color combination because it is the Original Shelby blue color with gray metallic stripes, so this is one of the few models that will guarantee enjoying a powerful sport Shelby GT convertible and at the same time seeing how your investment is protected and growing as a collector! NOTE: The original window papers containing all of the descriptions of the car, original MSRP price and the dealer asking price, along with other documents that tell you all of the extras the car are included in a frame including the Shaker 1000 sound system (see pics). Why for sale? I bought it for fun and w/ends but now I need an automatic daily driver. I can’t handle Miami’s traffic with a manual transmission.
