Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1969 Formula S 383 Barracuda. This is a REAL 383 Formula S. Just over 200 made in 1969. I couldn't get a clear picture of the trim tag, so I will list it line by line starting with the bottom left. 1st-- E63 D32 BH29 H9B 308162 2nd-- R6 R6 H6R 228 182469 3rd-- A01 A06 A15 A53 A62 C16 4th-- C55 G15 G33 L31 M21 M25 5th-- M31 R11 V6X END. It looks like it was restored at least 10 years ago but still looks great. You're not going to win any car shows, but it shows well. Originally from the south (I believe S. Carolina), So the undercarraige is spotless, the pictures will show proof. I've only owned the car for a short time but have had a great time driving it. It runs and drives perfect. I haven't been able to verify if the engine is the original, therefore I cannot sell it as a matching numbers car. I have a handfull of mopar books, some say that starting in 1969 the vin was stamped onto the engine, the rest say it started in 1970. With my lack of mopar knowledge I would have to say it might not be original. The engine is a 383 backed by a rebuilt 727 trans and a 8 3/4 posi with 355's. New parts include carb, waterpump, dist. with pertronix, plugs and wires, coil, 2 1/2" exhaust with 50 series mufflers, Inner and outer tie rods, re-cored high flow rad, wheel cylinders and shoes on all 4 corners, tires, rebiult leaf springs, carpet and dash bezel. Runs and sounds great and turns heads everywhere it goes. Hate to sell it but due to my daughter graduating, the student loans are starting to roll in. Any and all questions will be answered. Nothing to hide. I'm not a dealer, just another guy that loves muscle cars. Winning bidder is to contact seller directly after auction is over to set up money transfer. So please only bid if you are READY to buy. Thankyou and good luck bidding.
