Vehicle Detail
Here is an opportunity to get your hands on a clean and great running jeep, with a paint job you can be a winner at your local car show (she turns heads as she is right now). I am more of a GPW expert, I bought this jeep already done with the intention to bring it to as close to original as possible. I bought the jeep before doing research on the slat grills so I ended up buying a complete project that had some of the rare parts that I needed to bring her back as intended but I now have decided to sell both jeeps. From my research I've determined that she has the correct rear scalloped axles, the correct fuel sump box is square, the correct T84 tranny (fill hole on opposite side of standard MB), correct windshield with no gun rack and brass latches ( I now have a later style windshield on because I wanted to use my original gun rack on this jeep) winner will have a choice as to what windshield they want or can get both for an extra $200, original data tags but no frame tag, shift pattern tag is damaged but the other other are in excellent condition, correct pancake style air cleaner, correct elbow that connect air cleaner to carb. Motor is a later willys motor but not a slat grill. If you are a purist this is not the jeep you want but if you are looking for a great running slat grill jeep at a great price that looks great and you can enjoy for the next ten years and bring back to original a little at a time you'll be happy with this one. Included with the jeep is the tire pump, fire extinguisher, gun rack (not mounted but included), axe and shovel, oil can and bracket under the hood, grease gun and bracket under the hood ( I have two styles buy not sure which is correct for the early jeep), jack, canvas top under the passenger seat etc. The fact that these little jeeps are rare, I recommend that all interested parties Do all their research before bidding. Due to the fact that sale is final I also recommend that the jeep be inspected in person or you can hire a professional to do so on your behalf before bidding. Due to a business opportunity I will also be selling my other projects which includes three GPW's, two early 42 script ones on willys frames, one 45 GPW, two other slat grills, and my 43 Ford GPA.
