When I first made contact with the seller of this Chrysler, I pictured it parked in a dusty garage under an apartment building. The seller stated it had been slumbering peacefully since 1985. It had belonged to his father and they had always fixed it rather than purchase some new wheels. Then, he gave me the address and I was stunned. My pulse rate quickened as I scanned my map. The address he had provided was in the priciest neighborhood in my city. I was excited to find this time capsule and I made an appointment to meet the fellow. As I drove, up, up, up into the wealthy, affluent hillside neighborhood my heart raced and my mind wandered. I had no idea about what I was going to shortly encounter. What I did find was two very eccentric and reclusive brothers who talked barely above a whisper. The city had ordered the garage cleaned out and the Chrysler had to go. Like right now, Go ASAP! Gone! Towed! Out of There! It felt good to liberate another forgotten classic and this one is a time capsule all the way. It's fun to knock the dust off a beautiful car that has been dry stored for so long. The dust, literally, felt an inch thick. Apparently, the timing chain had broken after all the long hauls to the residence high on the hill. It was only a matter of time until something broke since the odometer shows 92K and the car weighs over 4000 lbs. This is a fuselage style body and it is as big as a plane, boat, truck, house… This is a car that deserves a nice redo and it is so original I am sure it will be well worth it. Nobody does these cars, but my buddy John has a really mean one. It's cool if you want to set yourself apart from the crowd. Get a car nobody has. Get it in grandpa condition. Will you guys please look closely at the underside pictures? If you want something impressive in your garage why not get the biggest car you can find? If you want big, look no further. You can't miss this one.
