Hello, Up for auction is my 1971 stingray Corvette. Ive had the car for about 5 years now and she has always drove like a dream. In fact i gave her a nice long drive today to be sure she was running smooth and as should be. I drive the car about once a week. super clean interior and exterior. There are some paint stress cracks and missing a small piece of body shown in the pictures. The car could also use a good wax job. but the car really looks nice as is. In 10-21-08 I took the car to the shop cause i was hearing clicking noise in the rear end, I have documented of them replacing all rear wheel bearings and seals D/S spindle shaft New parking brake shoes and hardware and repair chock spring. all totaling 1,629. and they told me the clicking sound is the positraction. I only hear it sometimes when i turn. the A/C is cold. and the registration is clean, never overheated on me and like i said runs great. all the lights work even the small compartment lights in the rear. It also has a 6CD disk changer wired to the stereo hidden in the back so it still looks stock. Ive taken a lot of pictures so you can see exactly what you are bidding for. The windshield wipers open up but dont work. probably a fuse thing. Also the rubber sealing around the windows seem to need replacing, Example to roll the drivers side window up all the way I have to open the door first. Very easy to fix I just never got around to it. The odomider reads 29801 I dont think that correct. The car was a gift to me and i hate to be selling her but I have to pay my property tax and medical bills. It looks like someone painted it with that truck bedliner stuff all over the frame. it looks good but i can see a couple small spots were it has peeled off and looks to be rust. Like i said i dont know much about classic cars or restoring them so im sure I sound like a idiot right now but that's the best i can describe it. And no it does not have matching number.
