1979 WS6 optioned Pontiac formula Firebird 400ci Easy Project Car I’m selling this NON-Numbers matching project car that i got as part of a trade, to the highest bidder because I have no room and something must go. (see pictures) · The floors are solid · The Trunk is solid · The front lower grill inserts are missing – You can purchase many parts throughout eBay. · Will need a set of tires. Sometime in it's history someone thought it would be a good idea to make it a 6.6L T/A clone. So it has a Turbo hood with 6.6L markings on it. It is not a Turbo car and the 400 big block is not the stock motor.Previous owner did say he had the motor and trans rebuilt. Motor runs good, does not smoke, has the high performance "XO" heads other than that I don't know much more about it. The trans he said he had rebuild with a decent shift kit. The Interior · The door panels are in decent condition. · one cracks in the dash. · The front seats are in poor condition and will need front seat covers installed. · The back seats are in good conditions · The console and shifter are in really good conditions. · The windows go up and down with no problem. Engine Compartment · Non Numbers matching 400 with “XO” heads – Fast car o The motor has no knocking noises and it does not smoke. The car will need a complete tune up – Likes spark plug wires and emission lines checked Tach, Gas, Oil pressure and Water temperature are fine. · I have driven this car up and down the street not getting past 30 miles per hour and there should be no problem driving up onto a trailer. The transmission shifts fine. · The brake peddle has a little play. So brakes will need to-be bled. The brake Idiot light is on. Notes: Remember this is a Project car that needs to-be gone through before driving and I have the clear Virginia title in hand. I will not ship this car but I will help load it onto your trailer. I will store the car up to a month if the car is paid for in full. Payment Terms: I require a $500 deposit through PayPal at auction end. If you decide in person I didn’t describe my Trans-Am well enough I will refund you the difference from listing it on eBay. – I feel that is really fair.
