CA blue license plate car has been in the sf bay/milpitas/south bay area all its life so this is truly a CA car! The 2.7 litre motor was rebuilt approx. 16K miles ago with the original engine case including new clutch at the time (receipts available). Work was performed by reputable shop T&D Performance in Campbell, ca. Maintenance records totaling $11,000! With one receipt dating back 1989. Original 96,000 miles from service records. Upgrades to motor at the time include carrera chain tensioners have been installed. New synchros 1 and 2 replaced, and transmission resealed at the time as well. Interior has the rare optional recaro sport seats, good dash without cracks. All lights and guages work fine (including the clock and trunk light!) Original non-sagging door pockets and door panels. Overall interior is great. All stickers such as ID sticker still intact in door jamb, gold stickers intact in engine compartment. Comes with original tool kit and Ignition Key. Exterior is a beautiful copper brown metallic, paint code 436-9-3 in door jamb translates to copper brown metallic. The body has excellent lines and margins. Pans are great with no rust. As with any 30+ year old car paint will have some imperfections/chips but still looks presentable (see detailed pics below). Targa top is in good condition. Has rare optional hella fog lamps and rear wiper (wiper arm is currently placed in the trunk and can be reinstalled easily). 4 matching fuch rims are beautifully polished.
