At auction is a 1974/75 - Dodge Colt - "Project" Drag Car. Colt was built is the early 80's using any Alston Kit and was running 10.50 ET's with it down in Arkansas/Oklahoma area. I bought it to make a "budget" ol' Nostalgia ProStocker out of it but have to many projects now to finish. She's been stored for a while and will need gone thru to make sure everything is up to par. She's a little "ruff" around the edges but with some TLC should be a decent lil' Colt. It'd make someone a good "budget starter" car to play with on weekends. Here's the specs & items included: All Steel Body - Alston Kit - built early 80's - can't weigh much ! Just had lower "crash bars" professionally installed under both rockers to be legal. Chassis is a little "ruff" but seems REAL solid - My chassis guy said it wasn't the prettiest but was better than others he'd seen and had NO issues saying it would make a good starter car. Pretty decent "Tinwork" - some "finish" work needed in trunk area. Mustang II R&P front with OEM style Disc brakes REAR: Coil-Overs w/ Ladder-Bar Susp w/ Ford 9in Rearend - Spool & Axles included - needs gears and assembled Previously used a VW Sirroco Radiator(can still buy NEW) - not included New Motor Plate included for BB Mopar or Hemi Hood was trashed - NO Hood included - Fiberglass parts are available for these Colts new from a couple of places Comes with the Centerline Wheels and Tires as pictured Have the old Plexi windshield to use for template to make new one. Comes with the old fiberglass seat and some misc. "small parts". Have some other parts available for the buyer, including the 500+HP BB 440 and Turbo-Action Trans and TQ for a reasonable deal that was setting in the Colt - see pic below.
