97 Plymouth Voyager. No Reserve 197k. Still Runs Strong. I just bought a newer minivan for my wife and I am selling this gold one which has been very good to us. I have owned it 3 years and we got the van from my wife's parents. It has been in our family for the last 10 years or so. High Mileage but runs well for it's age. Accelerates strong. Shifts and brakes smoothly. This vehicle does not leak any fluids. Non-Smoker Vehicle. This vehicle has plenty of small problems that I will detail for you. One of the rear windows does not open. The key does not work on the rear hatch and some times you have to press the power locks several times before it unlocks. It has been like that for years and has not gotten any worse. The cassette deck does not work. The front left speaker does not work. The cigarrette / power outlets do not work. The windshield wipers sometimes don't turn off imediately but they always go off within 10 seconds or so. Vehicle burns half a quart of oil every 3000 miles. No A/C. The heat works very well on defrost and will keep you toasty but for some reason it only works so-so coming out the vents. The vehicle has a slight wobble that you can feel most around 35 MPH. We've tried everything to fix it over the years... Tires, brakes, alignment, ball-joints. Honestly don't know what is causing it but it is slight and we have driven it for 3 years that way and it still handles very well at 70 mph. If you leave the van sitting for long periods of time in very wet weather it will not start. It will turn over but will not fire. It will start fine when it's 5 below zero but it has trouble in 40 degrees rainy and sitting over night. The interior as I said is smoke free but we have 3 little boys who have had there share of dirty shoes in it not to mention the occasional dropped chicken nugget. I don't know if this van will go 3000 miles or 30000 miles but it runs pretty good today so bid accordingly. This van was a fleet vehicle in Texas before my father-in-law bought it from the company that he works for. So between Texas and Dayton OH for 7 years, the underside of the car does not look as bad as most snow belt vehicles. You can see some rust in the pictures. In the past we have gotten the EGR valve replaced to remedy this. It does not effect the Performance of the vehicle.
