Vehicle Detail

ConditionI have been the only owner of this vehicle and have kept it in top condition since I purchased it new in 2004. The interior is immaculate with virtually no signs of wear. The driver side floor mat is the most worn inside component with the other three mats in nearly brand new condition. There are no marks, stains, or damage to any of the seats or interior trim. The exterior of the vehicle is in above average condition but there are a few marks in the paint from normal use. There are several small chips in the pain on the front of the hood from highway driving but otherwise the paint is in good condition elsewhere on the vehicle. There is one or two small dents on the sides but otherwise no damage there. I always tried to park away from other vehicles and it seemed to pay off. There is a small black trim area between the rear windows of the car which has a little bubbling of the paint. Since this is dark black, it should be easy enough to paint the one square inch area if the bubbling is troublesome. The vehicle has never been in an accident, off the road, on the track, etc. The frame is in excellent condition. There has never been any smoking inside the vehicle, either. Mechanical NotesThe car needs a new bank 2 radiator side 3-way warm up pre cat (the easy one to replace since it's in the front of the car as opposed to under the intake manifold, 8 bolts). This comprises the exhaust manifold for the three cylinders in the front of the vehicle. The car starts but isn't really drivable since the converter is clogged thereby severely limiting the engine power output. A bad coil caused the problem but has since been resolved so a replacement converter should be all that is needed. I've been quoted about $160 in labor plus the part which runs $390 for an aftermarket version or about $750 for a Mazda OEM part purchased online. The part is also readily available on eBay motors. So, the repair work would run about $550-900 and therefore the selling price accounts for this. Diagnostics are complete thereby reducing the repair cost. Tires replaced early 2010, Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S 215-50-17 in great condition (replaced about 11,000 miles ago) Front pads/rotors, rear pads replaced at 65,000 miles about 13 months ago New battery (1 month old) New spark plugs, ignition coils, etc. per the note about the pre-cat above.Used Mazda spec'd synthetic blend oil for the first 50k miles, full synthetic oil since thenI am not aware of any other potential issues with the vehicle. It was running smoothly up until this converter problem and the clutch seems to be fine with no signs of problems. Features All of the features of the vehicle are in working order with no known issues. All interior/exterior lights are operational as well.Automatic A/CSingle Disc CD, AM/FM, Steering Wheel Audio ControlsCruise ControlPower locks, remote keyless entry Power windows, power mirrors Manual adjustment front seats Front/passenger side airbags5 Speed Manual Transmission3.0 L V6 Engine, 220 hp This vehicle has the original 17" wheels but does not have the sport package that includes the body trim work such as the rear spoiler. I did install the sport package front grill, however. HistoryI am the single owner of the vehicle, and outside of myself, there have been virtually no other drivers that have operated the car. Nobody has learned how to drive manual on it and the majority of the miles are highway commuting to/from work and meetings in adjacent cities. The car was regularly washed and waxed and as a result the exterior of the vehicle is in above average condition. The interior is immaculate with hardly any signs of wear or use. Shipping/PaymentAt the conclusion of the auction, please contact us and we can make arrangements for payment, either shipping or pickup, and title transfer. Full payment must be made for the vehicle within 7 days of the auction close. I am willing to accept PayPal for full payment of the vehicle, if desired. All shipping charges are the full responsibility of the buyer. Please bid accordingly. NotesI'm selling the vehicle as opposed to fixing it only because I am in the process of moving to New York City and will no longer be needing a car due to the significant costs of parking and insurance. Otherwise, I'd fix it up and keep it myself. I have detailed records for the vehicle that I'd be more than happy to share including information on each fuel tank fill up with milage as well as maintenance logs and receipts.
