1995 Pontiac Grand Am, manual 5speed transmission, gets great gas mileage, 188K original miles, perfect interior - body in good shape too, runs well. Needs to replace E-brake (shop located a vendor that has one for that model of car. They only need one day notice to have it delivered. That part is needed to pass state inspection). However, it was just found that the brake pedal itself needs to only be pulled up a little more then the brake light goes out, so could pass inspection as is - no guarantee. Other work found: very small hole in the muffler and weather-stripping needs some sealant. Total was quoted to be around $500 on the high side, labor charge is most of the estimated cost. Written estimate from the shop is available. Oil change and full tank of gas done in November. Purchased from private seller.
