Vehicle Detail
This is my baby, I have had her for 9 years. Most of which, was kept in a barn. She is very rare. This was the last year for the Hurst Olds. They came factory with a HD307, factory shift kit, overdrive transmission, heavy duty rearend, positive traction, most important was the lightening rod shifters. Same rearend as a Buick Grand National, this one just has better gears from the factory. Very solid old car, needs paint. You might want to look at it before you bid, it is far from perfect, but a real survivor. Passenger side window will not go up all the way. It has a very small exhaust leak. It needs a battery. Sometimes it idles and sometimes it won't. I haven't tried to start it in several months, because the hood latch is broke and the battery is down. I believe if you crawled underneath it to pop the hood, put a battery in it, besides it not wanting to idle sometimes, I personally would not be scared to drive it the way it is, and I did last year with a crossed tag. If you are from across the country drive it home at your own risk. It has never put me on the side of the road, but I haven't drove it regularly in quite some time. The interior is pretty decent for a car as old as this is, the headliner is good, factory 15" chrome wheels that are showing their age. My reserve is very reasonable for this car, probably to cheap. If it doesn't meet reserve, I don't want any offers I will just keep it. It should make the reserve and make a nice car for someone. It is very sought after. If you are not going to follow through with the purchase, do not bid on it. It cost money and time to list on ebay, so if you are not going to pay, do not waste my time or yours. Thank you.
