You are bidding on a very rare 1962 Ford Ranchero. Most people refered to it as the Ford Falcon Ranchero. I have taken it to several Car Shows and it was the only Ranchero there. It is a very Rare and unique vehicle. This is a great show car, hot rod, street car etc. I will discribe this car to the best of my ability. I am selling this car because I just do not have time to take it to shows or go cruise-in and it is a shame to let this rare unique vehicle just sit here. Engine : Ford 302 V-8. Runs GREAT. Does not smoke or leak any oil. Has regular oil changes. I have never had a problem with this engine. This engine was in this car when I purchased it . I was told that it was rebuilt and installed when car had 46,000 miles on it which is 13,000 miles ago but I can not verify this. Again it runs great and does not leak or burn oil. I just installed a new fuel pump about 6 months ago. Has dual exhust. There is a small exhust leak that I think is the gasket.Not that bad. Transmission: Ford AOD - E version Overdrive Transmission. Was completely rebuilt and installed by AAMCO Transmission at 46460 miles. Has about 13,000 miles. Transmission shifts out perfect and has no leaks. Has a B&M Shifter that you can see in the picture of the interior. I have the receipt from AMMCO Transmission. Has a New Fuel pump installed in 7/10, Carburator adjusted and gas tank liner installed in 09/08. Tires purchased at Tire Kingdom @ 55,000 miles so they have about 4000 miles on them. New Struts installed in 01/ 09. Master Cylinder and brake shoes installed at 47658 miles. I have the receipts to verify all of this. Exterior: Teal in color. Paint is in good condition. No rust. There is a spot on passenger door about 1 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch high that you can see a blister starting if you really look for it. The bed is in perfect condition and has a custom made leather snap down cover over it. All lights work, all chrome is there and in good condition. Car has been very well taken care of. No rust under vehicle. Interior: Seats , Door Panel and Kick Panels are in good shape with no holes . It is green and only slightly faded. Could be dyed to make it perfect. It has the original sportster interior with bucket seats. Dash is in good shape but could use a paint job to make it perfect. Has an AM/FM radio but I do have the original AM radio that will go with the car. The A/C is the under dash model that was offered as an option at the time and blows COLD AIR. Again to my knowledge there is no reason you can't drive this car across the country. It Drives, Runs, Steers and Stops Great. Please ask any questions before bidding. Buyer to pay $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and balance within 7 days. Buyer is responsilbe for pickup and or transporting vehicle.
