Attention all classic luxury car enthusiasts. Available for your bidding pleasure is a very desirable and rare 1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SL Convertible with removable hard top. Paired with a powerful V8 is a smooth automatic transmission and European sports car handling. This car has been well cared for since new and garaged most of it's life. You can see by the condition inside and out that this car was lightly used and maintained. Only 80k miles! No dents or rust. Car appears to be all original. These 500 series Mercedes are very collectible and are becoming harder to find in this condition. They were the pinnacle of perfection and beacon of status in their day as well as in the present. With it's classic style and loads of factory options (including leather and full power), this is a pleasure to drive in the summer with the top down. With only 80k, this engine has lots of life still left. No knocks and No smoking. Transmission shifts into and through all gears as it should. Car is very powerful and has responsive acceleration. Exterior Paint has all of its factory shine and glistens in the sun as you can see. The body is very straight and there are no major dents, damage, or rust. There are a couple minor blemishes here and there such as a ding or nick, but nothing major that takes away from the overall appearance. Car is stock and has not been modified in any way. Vehicle was garage kept and it shows. Interior Overall excellent condition. The leather is in very nice condition with no rips, tears, or excessive wear (see pics). Carpet is not worn or ripped. No evidence or pets or smoking. Has been professionally detailed. Wheels and Tires · Tires have about 70%+ tread remaining. Rotors have a slight pulsation under heavy braking and may require resurfacing. Brake pads have adequate thickness and vehicle stops as it should. Has factory alloy wheels all around. Rear shocks are a little bouncy and may need to be replaced. I do advise that long distance buyers use a transport service to move vehicle rather than drive due to the sheer cost involved in driving cross country. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. Keep in mind that this is a 24 year old vehicle. There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person. Vehicle is otherwise sold as-is and where is with no warranty express of implied.
