Up for auction is an 84 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. This is the first year for the Daytona in this body style and from I am told the only year for the bumper that has Turbo Z molded into it which is worth at least $400 alone. It also has the one year only front speakers that light up. This car has never been modified in any way, it even has the original muffler with the chrome extension. The interior is in good shape and the only issues are the drivers seat has some worn areas, but I do have another leather seat with good apholstry. It is a passenger seat, the material looks the same, but the frames are different so the material would need to be installed on the existing frame. The passenger door power lock swith is missing the switch rocker button, but still works and I have another switch. The dash is not cracked and everything on the car works. I fixed some rust in the drivers floor board where the emergency brake cable comes through, ( this is common on these cars) and at the corner where the floor board and firewall meet. Both areas were not very big, the rest of the car is original metal. It has new tires on the front and very good ones on the back. I had the front end aligned and also installed a new fuel pump, fuel and air filter. I bought this car to use as an everyday driver,but after some research I found out these will be collector cars and there are clubs of fans and collectors and I hate to just wear this car out if someone would like to have a rare car. The car does need the Burgany repainted and there are some dings and one dent in the drivers fender that need repaired. If the buy it know is used I will have the body work done and the car repainted, if it just makes reserve I will have the same done for an additional $400.
