Help save a piece of American history! The car you are looking at is a 1963 AMC Rambler 660 Cross Country Classic wagon. 1963's Motor Trends car of the year. These pictures tell a sad true story abount a true American and his legacy. The gentleman you see in the pictures name is Richard . No last names for obvious reason. A hard dedicated worker at the AMC kenosha , Wi. plant ( which later became a Chrysler plant ), big Rich was the kind of man you'd find in his hand built two floor garage,engine greese under his fingernails, sweat on his brow on any given day. Several years ago he passed away due to cancer, and with him went another member of a dying breed. Everyday dozens of men like him pass , and with them go a mind set that made America what it is today. The type of men who helped build our country up and supported it by buying American made products. Today folks are so quick to blame the government about our current economical crisis , when the truth is ? it is just as much our ( the citizens ) fault as much as anyone else. By buying foreign products we are investing in their economies, helping their countries to grow and our to die slowly. Not that we invested in these countries out of spite. It was American industry who betrayed us first by producing products such as the Dodge Shadow , Ford probe and other various item. Well this car proceeds these less then worthy products , back to a time when we were number one because we earned it. Not just lived off of our forefathers reputation. save this car before its too late. Car does run, needs new battery, brakes to be adjusted, but everything you need to complete this car is included with the auction. 91.772 original miles. garage kept for nearly two decades 5,000.00 USD takes it with everything 660 Classic related.
