If you are looking for a great jeep to add to your collection, you have just found it. This is a 1945 GPW that has been restored and is in excellent condition. The jeep has about two hundred miles on it since restoration. It is a matching numbers jeep which means the engine, frame or body (glove box with original data tags) all match. What is unique about this jeep is the fact that it retained its original engine over the years which is very rare and hard to find. Even the data tags are original. The original engine runs very strong and starts right up. The jeep also retained its 6 volt system. Almost all the bolts are f stamped. It is loaded with original parts such as the script seats, decontaminator, fire extinguisher, rifle rack on the windshield, Lube chart holder, tandem tow bar, grease gun, axe and shovel, spare tire carrier, hand crank, jerry can holder etc. Another very rare thing about the jeep is the fact that it was in excellent condition prior to the restoration so no after market panels had to be used from what I can tell. All panels appear original and in great shape with one little crease on the driver side rear corner which adds great character to the jeep. The floors are in excellent condition. This is the last of my matching numbers jeeps that I have for sale so don't let it get away. I also have three script GPW projects and three WILLYS slat grills that will be on ebay soon. As always I recommend that all interested parties come see and inspect the jeep in person before bidding on it. I will accept offers through ebay for our mutual protection. You will not find a more complete jeep for that price nor can you restore one for that price. Finding a n original jeep as solid as this one was is a challenge on its own.
