Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1969 Ford F-100 that was purchased new at the local Ford store on January 17,1969 and has never left the Lewiston / Clarkston valley. This is a shining example of an all original 42 year old truck that has had exceptional care. The previous owners have kept good records of oil changes, service work, etc. from 03/26/1997 when it had 58,998 miles until 11/15/2007 when the truck had 85,236 miles all documented in a small notebook. The truck is in absolutely unbelieveable shape. The body is exceptional with only a couple of minor dings (hood / door pictured). The interior is 95% original with the exceptions being a new seat cover installed last month and a Sony am-fm cassette player installed by the 2nd owner in the late 90's. This truck starts right up and is so quiet it's hard to tell the motor is running. It drives like the day it was new! The transmission shifts smoothly, clutch is great, no smoke, no rattles, no issues. If you want a very nice, unmolested pickup this is it! I have been driving this truck back and forth to work for 3 weeks and have to say it's without a doubt one of the best running / driving trucks of this age I have ever owned. The truck retains it's original 360 V-8 2bbl, truck 4-spd, and rearend. The body is very straight, paint is excellent (was repainted sometime in the 90's), interior is perfect, and everything works PERIOD. The lights, gauges, turn signals, heater, stereo, fan, speedo, power steering, etc... all work just like new. The are absolutely no surprises in this truck. In the last 2 years here is what has been done; New u-joints, carrier bearing, battery, shocks front / rear, brakes all around including wheel cyl's and hardware kits, spark plugs, points / condensor, dist cap and rotor, spark plug wires, all hoses heater and radiator, all belts, fuel pump, brake master cyl, air cleaner, oil change, chassis lube, alternator, starter, power steering box resealed, and new tires. I have the original protect-o-plate and documentation from the original purchase (pictured) as well as most paperwork for recient work described. The truck is 95% rust free with only a little surface rust on the outside of bed on both sides (pictured). Looks like it didn't get sealed good before the color was applied and a couple of small holes under the very rear of the cab (pictured). The floors, fenders, doors, cab corners, etc. are super solid! Seriuos bidders please feel free to call or e-mail with questions. Check my feedback and you will see I describe items as they are not what you want to hear. If you have zero (0) or negative (-) feedback please contact me prior to bidding. The vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early as long as the reserve has not met. Please do not ask what it is because it will not be disclosed. I think it takes the fun out of the auction. I will tell you it is set extremely low for a truck of this caliber. Do not wait to bid. This truck WILL sell and someone is going to get a GREAT DEAL! Thank's for looking and good luck with the auction! On Jan-08-11 at 09:48:50 PST, seller added the following information: I need to make sure that everyone knows that the windshield has a halo in it on the drivers side that is hard to see. It is not in the line of sight but is still there. On Jan-13-11 at 18:39:26 PST, seller added the following information: Ok so here it is. To everyone who asked how much to end the auction early, the "Buy-It-Now" has been lowered to $3,850.00 Good luck!
