1997 Jeep Cherokee - 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine - 179k miles - 2 door - automatic transmission - 2 wheel drive - alloy wheels - blue exterior - gray cloth interior This 97 Cherokee runs and drives like new! It has 179k miles on it but that is nothing on the inline 6 cylinder 4.0 liter engine. Ask around or just do some research on these motors and you will find that they are nearly indestructable. This cherokee has no mechanical problems. Its extremely straight and clean given its age. It doesn't leak or burn any fluid. Being a two wheel drive it will get better gas mileage than 4x4 cherokees and still have the performance that the 4.0 liter engine is known for. The floor pans in this jeep are all solid. The windshield is cracked but that is being replaced before the auction is over, so the windshield will be brand new! The tires (size 225-75-15) are good with about 75% of the tread left. The alloy wheels, seen in the pics, look just as good in person. The exterior is a light metallic blue which really looks sharp with the 2 door body style. There is no rust on it. The only blemish is a small dent behind the drivers side door at the bottom of the body. The interior is gray cloth. This jeeps interior is nice, clean, and presentable. Most of these cherokees have a large rip on the drivers seat from getting in and out of the vehicle but this one doesnt have that. This Jeep will be a perfect vehicle for someone!
